It wasn't so bad, but I probably wouldn't read it again.
After reading the Shuddering by the same author and giving it 5 stars, I suppose I had high hopes but was sadly disappointed.

This was a new author for me, so I decided to try it. I went in blind, and while I didn't love it, I think it was okay.

The story is set around a group of friends and an abandoned farmhouse in their small town. They venture to visit it one night, while in their senior year. And a tragedy happens.

Then we fast forward to 19 years later, and the 2 friends return to that house.

You get the drift. It was ok. The writing wasn't terrible. However, I think it could have been shortened slightly, as I did get a bit bored in the middle.

3.25 stars and I'm sure I'll give this author another chance.
