I love this book. The first poem was superbly constructed, threading detail and imagery easily and precisely. There was enough in Chauly's poetry for me to pick out and keep; I was engaged throughout.

I wish she would have explored her fascination with Onkalo, "the world's first spent nuclear repository," it being the collection's title. It fell short as an image/concept -- the poem of the same title was too short, too vague, too quick to stop. I felt this way for some of her other brief pieces too and wondered if maybe length was where her poetic voice is clearest. She writes beautifully.
