Read as single issues: The story from ASMFamily was a very touching one. The main story from ASM 600 is a classic Spidey/Ock battle. That story felt a little long though. It's like they were trying to cram in everyone Spider-Man has ever know but 600 is a big milestone. Most of the other little side stores are fantastic. They are the kind of sentimentalism that a true Spidey fan feels and has come to expect in big issues. Issue 601 was good and leaves a good cliffhanger towards the next storyline.

Contains several shorts which surround the 600th issue main meal. The center piece is a Spidey vs. Doc Ock battle delightfully drawn by John Romita Jr. Also we get Aunt May's wedding. It's mostly got the classic Spider-man feel.

This volume mostly felt like filler for the next big event, which is fine! Just didn't necessarily make it a stand out. We did get to see some back story for Aunt May and Uncle Ben, which I enjoyed. And of course, the main event: the wedding! Which of course, leaves us with our first siting of MJ in a while. It will be interesting to see how that plays out.

The end of this volume hints towards the Gauntlet storyline, which I know spans like 5 volumes. Big events can be hit or miss, but we'll see how it goes!

Much more fun than the collection that proceed it. Issue 600 is a longer than usual issue containing an inventive new take on Doc Ock and some nice smaller stories. The rest deals with Aunt May's wedding and some of the aftermath.

The meat of this collection Amazing Spider-Man #600 is five stars. The rest brings everything down to a three rating, there is lots to enjoy but only issues 600 and 601 appear here. An annual and a lot of other short stories make up the rest and they range in quality.

But you should read it because this is the beginning of Slott's legendary Doc Ock stories, as well as a May and Jameson Sr's wedding. John Romita Jr does pencils this sisue and I love him one Spider-Man.

A collection worth reading for a touching story about Aunt May and Uncle Ben as well as the 600th issue.

It gets three because some of this is quite strong. Some of it... Really isn't. The quipping in #600 was excessive, and I've not read an issue of anything that felt like it was dragging SO MUCH. The rest was ok, though. I'll be interested to see what happens next.

Mainly consisted of soppy story, not as much action as you'd like.
