Wynbrandt is hilarious and unapologetically sophomoric. I love everything about this book, including the gross pink hyper-coloration of the graphics.

Funny but too much about Justin Bieber. I loved the art

A collection of several short pieces revolving around the author's experience with the opposite sex. It reminded me of Unloveable by [a: Esther Pearl Watson|238242|Esther Pearl Watson|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1321980263p2/238242.jpg] in spirit.
Didn't enjoy it as much as I expected after reading an excerpt in [b: The Best American Comics 2015|23719226|The Best American Comics 2015|Jonathan Lethem|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1425611371s/23719226.jpg|43328811], but that's probably because of the fragmentary nature of a collection like this. I identified with the author's very specific feelings of frustration. I'm in a much more satisfied place currently, but have been there in the past. Since the title and thematic material related to it were what interested me in the first place, I was bummed there wasn't more reflective content along those themes.
The art is really what stood out for me, ultimately. Most specifically, the HAIR.

This is a wonderful collection of the hilarious Gina Wynbrandt’s comics. I laughed the entire time I read it. It’s feminine and gross and honest, and the art and humor complement each other perfectly. I can’t wait to read anything else she writes. (We’re cats)

Def could’ve done without the Big Pussy chapter. That was just gross and really put me off. BUT that being said holy shit I laughed and cringed so hard because this is essentially my shitty life in comic form. From Justin Bieber obsession to terrible luck and being ugly. Oh man I love the amount of Bieber in it. The art was also fantastically drawn and the colors were so cute! Highly recommend-
