The Angel & Faith volumes are fun, but not nearly as good as the main Buffy comics.

So far, not as strong as Season 9, but I do love the new artist. I wish more of the art in both series was like this.

Angel and Faith are living totally different storylines, so I'm not sure why they're even included in the same comic for any reason other than they were together last season. This is also pulling heavily from the Buffy side of the universe, bringing in characters like
SpoilerAmy, Riley,
and Kennedy. (Of all the characters to keep around, why KENNEDY??)

It would be nice to see a return of characters from Angel's TV series, instead of going back to rely on Buffy for plot points.

I really enjoyed season 9 Angel and Faith (actually more than Buffy and I usually prefer Buffy), but I'm a bit concerned with the start of season 10. It seemed the issues collected in this volume dawdled and didn't really get to much of a point. I mean Angel is fighting pixies and Faith is hanging out with Kennedy (which Buffy did and it wasn't that interesting then either). The last issue was actually very good, it seemed to be setting up for something involving Angel's past- it was very like the tv show. However other than that last bit I was overall like eh probably could have done without reading it. I just wasn't drawn into either Angel or Faith's storylines, I hope it gets better. O other plus I did like the art, it isn't Isaac's anymore but it's a good change up.

I was confused that this series was going to keep going after Angel and Faith went their separate ways. And honestly, that separation makes this volume disjointed and unsatisfying. Juggling two stories means that they can't properly develop either of them, so I wasn't invested during any of the big reveals. Still, I enjoyed spending time with Buffyverse characters and I am hoping that the set up in this volume will have a decent payoff later in the story.

I've really grown to love Angel and Faith, and it's a damn shame they didn't get enough time on TV together. Ah well, they have their comics!

There for awhile I was enjoying Angel & Faith more than Buffy. Now Buffy has overtaken this series though I'm still enjoying it.

Great start to a new season. Cool new characters and some surprising returning ones.

I'm sorry to say that I was bored with this first volume in the new season. Angel works best when he's with a crew, or at the very least with Faith. By himself he is incredibly boring. Faith by herself comes off as a selfish bitch. They better team up in the next volume or both characters are going to cause me to stop reading and only stick with Buffy Season 10. The plot had better take an interesting turn as well.

The new season is full of promises. I just hope Faith and Angel won't stay separated too long, the back and forth between the two stories will get annoying fast. The art is pretty good, somewhat different from the previous season but I like it.
