I was given an ARC copy of 3 of the 18 short stories from this anthology:

Mr. Online by Jennifer Foor – 4 stars
Insatiable Hunger by Jade C. Jamison – 4.5 stars
Will You Be My Valentine by Jade C. Jamison – 3.5 stars

Out of the stories I have read so far Insatiable Hunger by Jade C. Jamison is my favorite. Each book deals with finding love in the least likely of places. Mr. Online entailed online dating and finding the urge to find love for the first time &/or again, Insatiable Hunger dealt with being a cougar and being with someone out of your comfort zone, and Will You Be My Valentine? consisted of old high school acquaintances who had left on bad terms and met again years later.

Each was unique in its own way and had me feeling love in the air in many shape and forms. I hope that there are possibilities that the authors will continue the couples’ story in each novella. Regardless, fall in love over and over and pick up a copy today!

Teasing Destiny by Melanie Shawn

This is an introduction to a new contemporary series, Wishing Well, Texas. It was enough to whet my appetite for this new series, scheduled for release in July 2015.

Destiny is the small town sweetheart who never left home. JJ is the small town golden boy turned pro baseball star. Destiny and JJ have a long history, one Destiny would rather not revisit. JJ realizes that leaving Destiny behind left a hole in his heart, something he plans to rectify.

This story has a a lot going for it. The emotional tension between Destiny and JJ is well established, early in the story. There are some fantastic secondary characters, including Destiny's great grandmother, Grandma Dixie, who raised her. The story is told from both the hero and heroine's point of view, with each chapter told from alternating perspectives.

I didn't love that this was essentially the first few chapters to the book rather than a complete story on its own. Having said that, I can't wait to finish the whole story! I'll be eagerly awaiting the scheduled release so I can see exactly how Destiny and JJ's story plays out, as well as the other characters in the series.
