After reading a preview of this book on Free Comic Book Day, we decided we needed it for our kids. It's a book that the whole family can enjoy. Now that my husband and I have read it, I think our 5- and 4-year-old are ready to read it, too. As they get older, I'm sure they'll read it over and over by themselves. I thought it would be a collection of standalone stories, but the insectoid problem made for a nice but of continuity.

'Dear Justice League' by Michael Northrop with art by Gustavo Duarte is a fun collection of short stories about superheroes who get letters from children.

Each chapter features a different member of the Justice League, and there is a larger story going on loosely. Superman gets asked if he ever makes mistakes. Wonder Woman's letter reminds her of her 11th birthday. Cyborg is challenged to online video games.

I really loved this collection of fun stories that show a lighter side to the Justice League members. I loved the caricature style art that kept everything kind of light and silly. I think kids would get a kick out of this, and it might even pull in a reluctant reader or two. Great job!

I received a review copy of this graphic novel from DC Zoom, DC Entertainment and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this graphic novel.

This was just fun, funny, and cute the whole way through (except for Superman letting someone's bicycle get destroyed by a truck without shedding any tears shed). Both the artist and writer really add great details and thoughtful portrayals of these characters that have had thousands of scripts written about them. We finally get a glimpse at how Batman organizes his utility belt, which I've wondered about for years!

I read the whole thing on my lunch break at the library I work at, and was eager to finish it just so I could check it back in and immediately put it on our Marvel vs. DC feature display. A couple other favorite details that made me laugh out loud include someone fleeing an invasion at the White House yelling, "I'll be filibustered - it's Superman!" and a relatable moment of truth where Aquaman checks to see if there are any witnesses around before sniffing his own armpits.

This has to be one of the better graphic novels targeted at children.

Cute, quick read about how super heroes, no matter how super, are really just like the rest of us after all. :)

I got a advanced readers copy of this book. It is hilarious! It is centered around the justice league being asked questions from middle school kids. The heroes teach lessons they learned in a humorous way all while fighting a bug invasion.

Super cute book with both humor and heart. An absolutely great read for the younger set; Northrop hides his message in clever and modern writing, and Duarte's art is adorable without seeming too young. (Plus: The sound effects are *chef's kiss*.)
