It's like Game of Thrones in 3 (bad) ways. 1. Characters are introduced and immediately killed in hundreds. 2. It's a lot of misery and strife. 3. There's incest. Honestly, I nearly quit reading it a few times, it was so dull and monotonous. Very little character development aside from the main 3. Very little wonder, awe, or fantasy aside from Amero's forging .
