Cute crayons, each with a personality of it's own. Slightly disappointed that the companion book, The Crayons' Book of Numbers, uses many of the same illustrations. Wouldn't buy both.

On its own: it's a cute story.
Knowing the background: it's literally the same book just smaller and more card board for the variety of children who can't stop themselves from chewing on their books still.
Three stars because I feel like I should have known but also without knowing it IS cute.

I love the Crayons' stories. Reading this allowed me to see why the Crayon family later became frustrated with Duncan.

This series is one of my favorites! They’re so funny while simultaneously being really educational about colors

This is a board book version of the story from "The Day The Crayons Quit" which I really enjoyed.

Without the mirth of Daywalt's other "Crayon" books. Not recommended to fans of the series.
