This book wasn't exactly what I thought it was, and I'm grateful for that. The title and description is awfully dramatic, while the book itself is a lot more balanced. The truth is all technological developments change the way our brains work, which is bloody fascinating - and whether that's a good thing or not, only time will tell really.

This book is a little dated now, being a decade old. I'd love to see a revised edition.
