I really liked how this book was formatted to be like a podcast. I think it was done in a way that was fresh and I was immediately hooked. While I enjoyed this for the most part, I did find my mind wandering several times as I progressed. I do plan to check out the next book in the series.

I listened to this as an audio book and the format worked really well. Unfortunately I absolutely hated the ending - the villain with psychosis is such a harmful trope.

To be honest, this review could be a single word: meh. Nothing excited me, nothing thrilled me, nothing shocked me. I didn't care for the characters. The only thing I liked was the format, which was why I bought this book in the first place. I love books with different formatting, whether that is like this, or Illuminae where it's very strange.

Not quite into it. I should read more than 14 pages but it hasn’t grabbed me yet. Will try again at another time

It’s an okay read. Nothing really stands out, just a typical mystery story that’s mostly told in podcast form. Maybe that’s why I feel like the story fell flat, because of the limitation of how the story was told. Although I do think rereading it again after knowing the ending might give some new perspectives on the book.
