The next generation of the Curvy Girls Club! The younger sister of a founding member of CGC, Cori constantly feels overshadowed by her sisters: Ginger-- her older sister-- with her medical issues meant her mom and dad had to pay attention to her; her twin younger sisters are taking off with their acting and need Mom's attention... even going to far as to moving for production! That leaves Cori to figure out how to grow up and be proud of who she is.
I loved this introduction to the next generation of CGC. I think it was done very well bringing in a whole new group of girls through a sister we've already met. A very fun and quick read for teens.

I had to fight a little bit not to do less of a rating... but I loved the story. My problem was the audiobook in general. There was a background noise of static and page turning, and I even heard guinea pigs squeaking in the background! There were also huge pauses even with my audio sped up, I think the longest was almost a minute long. At one point, it skipped back probably a page worth and had it read the same thing all over again. In the end, it cut off part of the epilogue and went partway into the authors notes.
Aside from the audio problems, i yet again loved the story that Kelsie wrote and continued to adore the curvy girls getting the spotlight.

This was so, just, wow! I loved the way i actively didn’t want the protagonist and love interest to get together, it really spiced things up. The lack of chemistry was also something really fresh for romance novels, it was exciting! I’m glad the author pushed book norms by making a plot that was entirely unbelievable. At times, i didn’t know if i was reading a romance or a comedy. That’s the kind of edge-of-my-seat reading experience i’ve been looking for!!
I hated this…i hated this so much…but i’m giving it two stars because of that one scene where Ryker(?) shows up at her house and is nice for 2.3 seconds and Cori’s like “Who’s this? The good twin??” That line was genius and on its own deserves five full fat stars.
