was okay, but had her standard in her paranormal romance. also, i do recommend reading this book first in the series. Only because this first case is mention in the other books as well.

Paranormal Mystery Romance
I liked it, didn't love it. The intro was intense and spooky. After that it felt too all over the place for me. I thought having a unit of FBI ghost hunting was a little interesting. There were ghosts but there was a hoax.
The murder mystery was interesting but there was also the ghost story mystery and trying to figure out how and if they were connected.
The romance just didn't hit for me. I think it felt too fast especially for Characters that were written as hard to trust/fall into a relationship types. There was just not enough lead up and breaking down those walls for me.
I think the whole book to me felt like it was missing something in each aspect but was quick, easy read. I'm hoping more gets fleshed out with characters and this unit as the series continues.

So slow to get going! The ending was interesting, but I almost gave up half way through because they spent so much time introducing so many characters that they didn't get to the real story until half way through. Very disappointed.

Great start to the series. I like how the author mixed the paranormal with the detective work. The book is neither completely solved by the paranormal nor by strict detective problem solving. I’m up for the next one, and there’s I’ve 30 in the series. Lots to add to TBR list!
