It took me a couple of pages to get into both the story and the poetic style of the play, but in the end I found myself quite enjoying it. Even though it is technically a fragment, to me it seems much closer to complete than the small note at the bottom of the first page would indicate; as if there are only a few pages of dialogue missing in the middle where the break occurs. The ending, with its clever twist, was definitely not what I expected, and makes me really wish that Wilde had been able to finish the rest of the play.

This play is a mess, an enjoyable mess but a mess nevertheless. You can tell that Oscar Wild never got time to finish it, if he had I think it would have been better. But he was a very talented writer so it's quite enjoyable, but it lacks the finesse and awesomeness he's other work has

In the form I've got it it's too incomplete to judge properly. I think it would have made a good tale had it ever been finished.

This play's premise is hysterical. Bianca (married to Simone) is miserable in her marriage because Simone treats her poorly; enter Guido (yes, same name as in the Duchess of Padua, the only Italian name to exist according to Wilde maybe) who just straight up starts flirting with Bianca in front of Simone and Bianca loves it. Naturally, Guido and Simone end up dueling except it does not at all turn out the way you expect. In fact, it derails. I can't stop laughing at the sheer ridiculousness. This reads as a complete play but for the sake of everyone, I think we are just categorizing this as incomplete because wtf?
