I just loved this!!

Man, what a ride! This was such a good. book. It was nonstop awesomeness from the get-go.
I'm so happy with the ending of t his series, it couldn't have been better.
It was great to see Carly's growth and determination, I'm so proud of her.
I literally screamed and jumped around when we met up with some of the characters from the Rose Gardener series. I can't freaking wait to read what Denise has in store for us next!

A Perfect Ending

Carly Moore got the ending she deserved and so much more!! Carly has been on the run from her father since the Rose Gardner series and during her time in Drum has found herself at the forefront of more trouble. The people she meets leave such a lasting impression, and her strength and growth is perfect. You don’t need to read the Rose Gardner series to read this one, but I recommend you do, it will make it so much more impactful. I cannot recommend this series enough!

Oh. Em. Gee.

If you’re reading this review and haven’t yet started this series, do it. I promise you won’t regret it.

I have inhaled every novel and novella this amazing author has written. I’m also extremely talented at predicting events that will happen in books and movies. So when I say I didn’t see these events coming, it’s a huge compliment. So many emotions through this book. I felt anger, sadness, joy, fear and so many others that I can’t name. I laughed, I cried, I stopped reading for a night due to anger. But I continued and the ending was a huge surprise. So many bittersweet emotions. I definitely have a book hangover from this one.

This was an epic finale to an amazingly written story. Thank you Denise for treating us with your intricately woven story and amazing characters.

The highly anticipated series conclusion, The Keeper of Secrets, is a suspense filled tale complete surprising twists and turns. I was literally holding my breath at multiple points throughout the action packed story!
I don’t know how Denise does it, she writes characters that are so rich and vibrant you can’t help but be sucked into their complex world. In this installment, we get POV’s from Carly and Marco, and this added layer makes the storyline even more compelling.
While it’s SO hard to see this series end, because boy do I hate saying goodbye to these characters, the conclusion to Carly’s story is everything readers could have hoped for and more. I recommend you clear you calendar and buckle up for this wild ride!

It’s really hard to compare to the Rose Gardner series. But I absolutely love this series too, and it was so nice to see some of the regular characters from Rose Gardner make an appearance. I can’t say that I like one series more than the other because they’re both just so darn fantastic. I don’t want to say too much and give anything away, but I think it ended the only way that it could. I’m hopeful we might see a guest appearance from Carly in the Harper Adams Mystery series. Getting to see all these characters again is like visiting with a friend.

I could cry. I am so upset that this book is over!!! The Rose Gardner series is what started my reading hobby as i was never really a big reader until about 4 years ago. Since then i have read almost all of Denise Grover swanks books. I enjoyed this series so much because of its connection to all of the Ross grander series characters and the way dgs brought them all together again made my heart so happy!

I would give this 10000 stars if i could.

First impressions.. LOVE the story & the series.
BUT! Very simple checks could have made details like Forrest City to Little Rock is I40 WEST, not East, and I40 doesn’t go to Texarkana out of Little Rock - I30 does. I know those are little details but would have been very easy to have those correct.

80% finished, so I’ll be back with an actual review.

What a wild ride the Carly Moore series has been!!! It was an enjoyable series with the perfect amount of suspense and many shocking twists and turns. As the series comes to an end with Keeper of Secrets, Denise does an amazing job tying up loose ends and I finally got answers to those outstanding questions that have been piling up throughout the series.

It is always bittersweet when a great book series ends. I enjoyed getting to know Carly, Hank, Marco, and Max and would love to have a spin-off where they are living a good life and are happy, with no one trying to kill them. Keeper of Secrets really showed readers how much Hank, Marco, and Max cared about Carly and it warmed my heart to know that she has finally found a real family. I have also enjoyed seeing Carly become a strong, independent woman. She has come into her own and it has been an amazing journey to see her grow.

I had my doubts if Denise was going to be able to pull off Carly taking down both Bart and her father, without it feeling rushed or sloppy. Now that the series is over, I can say that Denise did a really good job bringing everything together. Could she have pro-longed the series a book or two, yes, but in the grand scheme of things she ended everything nicely, and it didn't feel rushed or sloppy.

We also get to hear from Rose and Neely Kate and get to see Jed and Skeeter Malcom in Keeper of Secrets. It brought me so much joy having them back in my life, even if it was temporary. While I enjoyed and appreciated Denise creating the Carly Moore series, the Rose Gardner and Neely Kate series clearly made a huge impact on my life. As soon as Carly called Rose and Neely Kate my heart jumped out of my chest and then to have Jed help Carly again, my heart literally fluttered and I started to cry. There will never be another Rose / Neely Kate for me!  Because Rose, Neely Kate, Skeeter, and Jed make an appearance in Keeper of Secrets, I would HIGHLY recommend reading the Rose / Neely Kate series first!

Once again, I can't say enough amazing things about Denise and her writing. Her writing is captivating and her character development is always spot-on. Denise makes it extremely easy to get lost in the world of her characters and feel like you are right there with them throughout their journey. If you are looking for the perfect chick-lit that has mystery, crime, love, friendship, heartbreak, and SOOO MUCH MORE, then the Carly Moore series is the perfect fit for you. Carly is such a likable character that you can't help but cheer for her and her success.

I close out the Carly Moore series by saying, thank you, Denise. Thank you for bringing another amazing set of characters into my life! I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next!
