This is the first book in the new "A Manhunters, Inc." series. This book was fantastic! Full of suspense with just the right amount of romance thrown in. The characters are well developed, the storyline sucks you in. This one is a page-turner. I love the two main characters Zane and Savannah, both characters are strong. The supporting characters are also well written and very likable, I am hoping for a follow-up book about Roman and Gianna. So if you love a well-written book, with a great plot and a lot of unexpected twists, with just the right amount of romance thrown in, this one is for you.

A solid start to a new series!

Grave Secrets draws you in from the first page, when Zane's first surveillance assignment for his new company nearly goes very, very badly. The reader immediately needs to know the answers to a whole bunch of questions: Why are a soon-to-be-single mother and her young son the subject of an investigation? Why is there a sheriff's deputy stationed outside her house as well? What's up with the strange "game" that Zane overhears Savannah and her son play that night?

And those are just in the first chapter!

As the story continues, the drama and suspense pull you farther in--when will Zane come clean to Savannah about who he really is? What will it take for her to forgive him when he finally does? The answer to that last one is the only part of the story that wasn't completely satisfying, IMHO. She forgives and forgets waaaaay to fast, I thought considering--still, though, I really enjoyed Zane and Savannah's story, and can't wait to see what's in store for the rest of the members of his team :)

Rating: 4 stars / B+

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Fantastic first book in a series! The story features Zane Heller and Savannah Bishop. I can’t begin to imagine the hell Savannah was living in. I admire her strength though. It’s no wonder she goes a little crazy with Zane. Half a decade? Phew! Zane is a cool drink of water to a woman dying of thirst. Everything plays out smoothly in this story line. Tha pace is perfect and the action is exciting! There were a couple of plot twists I wasn’t expecting, which was great.

This is an action-packed story full of obsession, betrayal, scandalous behavior, friendship and love. The characters were fabulous and I look forward to reading more about them in future books. Bravo!

The first book in the Manhunters Inc series, Grave Secrets starts out with a bang.

These new characters of bad-asses help take down those who do harm to our country and find love along the way. Zane and Savannah are this book's main characters and I think they were the best to start with. Even though Savannah is trying to get out of an abusive situation and protect her son, she is written as a strong heroine who has finally found her voice and stand up for herself. Zane is ex military without any family ties who starts out thinking this would be a boring job, but learns quickly that nothing is boring in Hazard County.

The rest of the supporting cast is humorous and deadly. The antagonists (mainly the Sheriff and his father) are equally bad as the Manhunters are good. There's even a slight twist with one of the characters that you won't see coming, but makes perfect sense in the grand scheme of the story.

I look forward to more from these characters and already anticipate Roman's story.

Not quite insta-love, but the next thing to it. Skye Jordan wove a great, suspenseful story. Savannah was a great heroine. She isn't a kick-ass heroine, but she has great stores of strength in other areas. While Ian ran along the familiar lines of ex-military male, Savannah was a great female character. She was figuring her way out of an abusive relationship while single-handedly raising her son. She was figuring out contingencies to get them away if needed. She rolled with the punches and pushed on in an amazing capacity.
