Not great in itself, but the twist at the end of this volume will have me reading the next to find out the how/why of it all.

Earth 2 is not a happy place. People are always dying on Earth 2. There's a lot going on here and that crazy last issue (in this collection), just made it even crazier. The heroes in this aren't really grabbing me, but I am curious what's going to happen next. Especially with creepy, maybe-Batman, showing up every once in a while.

Strong artwork throughout the series. Intricate storytelling by James Robinson too. The first half of the book was somewhat muddled however, but overall in the series it has been fun.

Nothing incredible, just like the first volume.
The dialogue still remains very unnatural in many parts.
Another problem was that the whole premise of this story was "a world without Superman, Batman and Wonderwoman" and yet here we are with very obvious substitutes of them taking center stage.
Oh well...

Since I started watching “Stargirl” on the CW, I’ve been on a JSA kick. A lot of these collections are re-reads for me, but I’m enjoying them nonetheless. Earth 2 was a fun concept, but at this point, Robinson seemed to lose the plot. Perhaps he was already on the way out?
