THIS BOOK! Has defo took me out of a reading slump and I’m so happy to be back in the MPU!!

1) I love the footnotes (there’s a lot of it) but it captures daisy’s thought process beautifully and it makes you feel more connected to her.

The Daisy Haites book is definitely not as toxic as Magnolia Parks in my opinion but the SHIT THAT GOES DOWN IN THIS BOOK (I definitely tabbed a lot throughout). When we got a glimpse of Daisy in the first book I didn’t like her but we got to see why she was so bitchy and she’s just so loveable.

I definitely went into this book blind and didn’t know there was going to be gang lords, and an over protective brother and nothing beats the relationship between Daisy and Julian <3

man this friend group needs some serious tlc and therapy
i love daisy cause she’s unapologetically herself, and doesn’t NEEEED everyone to love her, but The ending made me just wanna give her a big hug (same with christian) I lowkey feel so bad for him this whole book

every book in this series has given me emotional whiplash if you read this back to back i salute you

this made me a fan of jessa. there are so many issues like i can’t even begin to tell you how flawed these people are and how much they continue to purposely ruin their own lives BUT it really makes you root for them despite the chaos. i love that there are zero one dimensional characters like they all have something going on even the side characters!!
