Audible free, a decent Jeeves volume, and learning it's possible to have consumed too many Jeeves... The writing and use of language is witty and terrific as usual

Wooster is the best. He’s like an alien that’s long assimilated to the dandy English world and is now explaining his daily life to other aliens.

The plot is bloody ridiculous, but the writing is sublime. Funny and smart, and a very enjoyable read

Feeling a little jaded with the darker nights and winter descending? Cheer yourself up with ‘Jeeves’ and ‘Bertie’ and the wonderful turns of phrase used by PG Wodehouse in his very funny books. Guaranteed laughs on each page.
‘The Mating Season’ is a great example of the author at his best. Over the top plot line, larger than life characters delivering the funniest dialogue and a happy and predictable outcome.
You’ll just feel better!

This is another great entry in the Jeeves and Wooster saga! In this episode, Bertie is thrown into the den of aunts (infinitely worse than a den of lions or thieves as far as Bertie is concerned)! Wooster's own personal Aunt Agatha orders him off to perform in a village concert at her friend, Dame Daphne Winkworth's abode at Deverill Hall. Through an unfortunate series of events while at Deverill Hall, Bertie is forced to impersonate his old school friend, Gussie Fink-Nottle, and in turn, Gussie is must impersonate Bertie. Ridiculousness ensues.
This installment gives the small reoccurring side character, Catsmeat Potter-Pirbright, his largest role. It also introduces his Hollywood Star sister, Corky Potter-Pirbright. Another first and last time appearance is Esmond Haddock, the downtrodden nephew of the aforementioned aunts. Other fun characters include Aunt Agatha's blasted son, Thos, the village atheist, Constable Dobbs, his concerned fiancé and parlor maid at Deverill Hall, Queenie, and shockingly, Jeeves's uncle and butler of Deverill Hall, the estimable, nay, MAGNIFICENT!, Charlie Silversmith.
This is such a fun book, with many things I left out. I highly recommend it!
