The beginning was quite slow but from chapter 12 it got interesting so I'm glad I didn't DNF it. It's quite a roller coaster of emotions especially nearing the end.
Definitely didn't expect it to be that gory but it's war so yeah
And the ending is hard for me to accept but then again anything involving wars are never easy
Although everything connected with the Powers were quite confusing (but most were explained/ become clearer in the end)
And I wish there were more information about the history of tribes/clans, and maybe Saorse's history.
