I absolutely FLEW through this book, I could hardly put it down. Wyn begins as a quiet, innocent human summoned to the royal Elven court, and I loved seeing her gain confidence as time went on.

This book fulfilled one of my favorite fantasies: the idea of being summoned to court to become a royal plaything... and then showing the royals she's so much more than that. Wyn turns the Elven world on its head, and this book is full of twists and turns that had me devouring every page. Oakes is my favorite, but Jaden looks out for her in his own ways as well.

If you enjoyed [b:The Lost Queen|58099560|The Lost Queen (Our Fae Queen #1)|Traci Lovelot|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1621541604l/58099560._SY75_.jpg|90820645], I have no doubt you'll also fall in love with Wyn's story.

I love me a good book, but this one has it all. We got some steam, some humor, some down to earth caring, and a whole lot of you must keep reading till you are done.

Wyn is a human in a faerie world. She was a youngling that was healed and 'kept' as an 'apprentice' for lack of a better word. When she becomes a human adult, she receives a letter that the royals demand an audience with her. She travels to the capital, where along that way, there is danger, and a really cute boy. Keep reading to find out what happens to Wyn when she goes to her royal meeting.

This is a reverse harem fantasy book, which I only in the last 6 months have found as a genre, and I am hooked. This isn't a read for your younglin' so be aware.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
