Well there

A look at the niaads before they were forced from the rivers, before they worked for the Norfolk, before they became second class citizens.

I loved this little novella. It had its faults but I enjoyed it a lot still. Great characters and ones I hope to see develop in future full books. I love how strong the main character is and the impact she has on those around her. I look forward to the next book and I'm interested in how these novellas will offer insight to the main series.

I mainly read this just so I could get some more backstory on some of the characters and I can safely say that I wasn’t disappointed. I loved the fact that we got to learn more about Tryphaena and the laws of the Naiads. For a page turning and spellbinding tale, I highly suggest this book.
