Eden Scarsi is the daughter of Vincent Scarsi who is a powerful man who has his children collect "debts" from those who do not pay him back. Eden is also known as the Silent Reaper for her method of murder and how effective she is.

Xander Royce did not want to turn to Vincent for money but he is in desperate need of money to pay for the treatments his mom requires in her fight against cancer. He owns a body shop but is in need of more customers to keep the doors open much longer.

When one of Eden's high profile jobs goes sideways she takes the next in line which ends up being Xander. But when Eden breaks her own rule of getting to know the "mark" she realizes how much she cares about him and doesn't think she can kill him.

How far will Eden go to protect Xander from her own family?

This was such a great book and filled with action from start to finish.

I loved Eden and that she was such a kick butt character. She was strong and truly felt that she was doing some good things in getting rid of bad people but then Xander tested her belief in what she was doing.

I adored Xander as well as he was such a good guy who just got caught up in trying to save his mom with no other avenues. He wanted to do his best to pay Vincent back and I really thought he was going to take the offer which got me thinking a totally different spin on the book.

I wasn't surprised that Eden fell for Xander but I totally did not expect some of the twists that happened in their relationship due to Eden's work and her new agreement. I was totally expecting some horrible stuff to happen!

The end totally had me freaking out and I was totally scared for what was going to happen! I loved Eden's actions and I can't wait for the next book!!

Oooooh the suspense! Eden and Xander are a super hot couple. She was sent to kill him after he didnt pay back her father the money they he owed. But once she was with him she realized that she just couldn't take his life. They then started to have a relationship. When she gets a call to leave town to deal with some other business she has to take him with her because she told her father that she had killed him. So they went on a road trip. He spent a good part of it being angry at her for the lies that she told him, but eventually came around. But then her family finds out that she did not kill him and that they are off together. There was a ton of suspense and a cliffhanger ending.... now I am waiting for the next installment.

At the beginning there was a part that was quite detailed in the explanation of what she does to the person she has to get rid of. I was a bit nervous that I was not going to be able to handle the rest, but I stuck it out and really that was the worst of the graphic explanations.
