A weaker entry in the series. I was really thrown off by the sudden change in artwork in the first storyline, thankfully it returned to the familiar for the later issues.
I enjoyed watching Ollie go after poachers and saving ancient historical sites but overall the stories were less engaging. I like seeing some of Dinah on her own and there were a few really great panels showing her sadness but it felt out of character to me for Oliver not even to send her a letter or word via a random perso he interacted with.
I was amused to find the this volume contained a Tommy and a Laurel.

I didn't enjoy this one as much as I have the others in the run. I particularly disliked the the Africa arc. Also, Ollie's hair was awful in this.

Diminishing returns from the Grell run. "Longbow Hunters" and the first few volumes of this ongoing series had clarity and purpose. Vol.6 finds Grell as adrift as Ollie. I also really miss Dan Jurgens's art, which gave the series an 80s sheen and balanced the light and the dark.
