Any Duchess Will Do is the fourth book in the Spindle Cove series. Most of the books in this series have character building for the MC a book or two before their story. This one though can be read as a standalone as the FMC isn’t really mentioned in the other books and while the MMC is in A Week to be Wicked, I forgot he was until it was brought up more than halfway through the story.

I really liked this book and that it was surprising in parts. All the areas that could be problematic with a set up like this were addressed and out in the open early on so it was nice to know those weren’t lurking through the story.

I loved the transformation the hero went through as he got to know the heroine more and realize that maybe he’s more part of the problem than he thought. The heroine was strong and wise and loved her for her steadiness and being down to earth.

I also love when the heroine is seen for her true self or taken care for the first time by the hero and this one had both. It was all that I enjoy in a romance, a heartwarming story that was also fun and steamy plus some healing of past hurts.

There are four steamy encounters.

CW may include spoilers: references to infant loss.
