This book was informative, because it shines light on practitioners and organizations who seek to leverage spiritual power over others, doing great harm in the process. However, I also found it inspiring because those individuals have been exposed, and spiritual leaders are now at the forefront of identification and triage. Holding abusers responsible is vital, as is tending to their victims with compassion, helping them sift through the debris of a wrecked understanding of God.
