Like the staccato bursts of machine gunfire, Mr. Fishbane's stories, being short, strike like spinning, burning lead. So many stories, which will immediately take hold will compel you about like a ring through the nose. From the first story of a Lexus driver who meets a steel drummer at a stoplight to a boy with an alien in his backyard, his stories will resonate and stay with you long after you finish. An enjoyable read that I will certainly read over again.
