I enjoyed seeing the interaction between Giles and Faith. It is easy to forget that Giles has a past. I always liked Giles

Loved getting more exploration and development of Faith in this volume! She’s such a dynamic character and watching her growth is entertaining yet endearing; I’m rooting for her as much as ever now. Also WILLOW!! Ugh Willow ily❤️

Beautiful illustrations. Much better flow. But will Faith ever learn that she is always easily used, manipulated, and turned to bad, obnoxious, and stupid plots against Buffy, because she is always whiny and woe is me? They know it and she so easily believes strangers. But glad she’s working with Giles on something important. Just wished I knew why Giles and Buffy had a falling out. Not sure I understood what happened at the end between Buffy and willow.

I adore this series, and have ever since I started watching it as a mid-season replacement over ten years ago. The comic form works very well to continue the story-line, and I was glad to see a return of Faith so early in the story. Her interactions with Buffy are always fascinating, and getting more insight into her character always a pleasure - no matter how depressing it may turn out to be.

Getting slightly more coherent. I'm still not quite loving the art... I guess I'm just really attached to the actors as the characters and anything not exactly spot on jars me a little.

(Edit because my backspace key died on my computer.)

I was super excited to see Faith back in this installment of the series. As always, her relationship with Buffy is complicated and you're never quite sure how things are going to end. I'm finding that I'm appreciating these graphic novels a lot more with this reread---possibly because I'm more familiar with the graphic novel format in general.
