I wanted to love this, but the MC’s voice was not right for their age. The descriptive language was at times beautiful, but distracting. I think it would have been better as an adult novel.

This was alright. Not really my kind of story--too much creepy, weird, gruesome and nonsensical for me...the ending was alright, not amazing. You kind of come out gasping and needing to recover,not unlike the Stories. At least we eventually explain and solve the nightmare logic, but it's a bit stressful for a book for me.

it was difficult for me to get into & i felt a little lost throughout the story trying to keep everything straight. i will definitely try again at a later date with reading it again:)
