Really enjoyed this and the rabbit hole it sent me down exploring Carters archive at the Griffith Institute. The book takes 40 objects from the archive- photos, letters, telegrams, notebooks and drawings and sets each on in its historical context. It’s beautifully photographed and thoughtfully captioned giving a more considered view of rights, ownership and historical omissions.

This is a beautiful hardcover edition about Tutankhamun - lots of information and pictures of records and the excavation of his tomb. A great addition for any ancient history or Tutankhamun buff.
