My favorite books! She is so funny! Who cares if her grammar isnt good?! What child at this age speaks perfectly?! these books are FUN!

A well written and fun book for children. Having my 7 year old daughter read it to me (with different voices for each character, of course!) was a delight. :)
This was my first easy chapter book that I read with my kids (ages 5 and 3). My 5 year old really liked it, and enjoyed Junie's silliness.
The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 4 is because I don't like that it says "stupid" and "hate" so much in the book. Those are words I don't really want my kids using on a regular basis.

I want to be clear that my daughter read this aloud and I read along. I am not a fan nor is she. My daughter kept asking how a little girl could be so rude. They kept sending various Junie B books home from school. I wanted to donate an entire set of Magic Treehouse books just because I was worried they lacked variety. The only thing going for it for us was that it brought about questions and made my daughter very well aware that how some characters act in books are most certainly not role models.
Recently ordered this entire series because it's one I cherished as a child and want to have for my collection. Started reading them today and loved all the nostalgia I felt reading this. These initial books are only around 60 something pages with big font, so it only took me 10 minutes to read this and I loved every minute of it!
