I'm just eh on this book. It wasn't bad but just didn't seem believable. And of course Gabriel was a bit controlling - whether he realized it or not. I do think that he and Isabella brought out the best in each other but I don't think I felt a connection to either character.

I liked some of the friends better than these two. Jessie was fun, Brad was solid and even Matty was endearing when we got to see a bit more of him near the end.

I did like that they didn't have sex until married but they did almost everything else and it was a bit more graphic than I was expecting.

Bella never had it easy. Her sister wants everything she has, her husband is a jerk, and her mom doesn't seem to carry about anything. She finds herself the single mom of 2 kids and, when she least expects it, a happy ending comes to her in the form of Gabriel.

Gabriel has to prove himself, over and over, to Bella before he can win her over, but the way he goes so overboard to make her and her kids happy is really cute.

This was a quick read that leaves you with a smile on your face.
