A lovely book with beautiful illustrations, celebrating all kinds of names and their musicality. My only qualm is that it lets the teacher off the hook for not trying to pronounce the girl’s name and for not putting a stop to the other kids bullying and ostracizing the girl. Instead, it puts the onus on the girl, who is a kindergartner. That being said, it is a beautiful book that promotes self-esteem for marginalized kids and pride in their names.
