Cozy mysteries aren't really my cuppa, but the author has me sucked in with the extensive New Orleans Baker Family (13 siblings--most in law enforcement)--all of them a bit eccentric, including our heroine, forensic pathologist, Hannah. Known as 'Holy Hannah' to the enraptured hero. And what's not to love about three aging mafia king-pins referred to as the '3 wise geezers'? Oops, now it's 2 wise-geezers. One of them got bumped off in volume 1.
