Honestly Still don’t know what it was about. But a female punk band and a pocket dimension. Vibes were dope tho!

Honestly I do not know what this story is about. The art work is beautiful though.

A ghost good at punk
In A Gift for a Ghost, we are led through two stories until they touch: they're connected through the same aspirations towards creative expression and seemingly separated only by time. Theresa is not who her family wants to be, and Laura is not understood by her friends. Their dreams make others see them as weird instead of special and this graphic novel beautifully presents these feelings of misfits in a simple but stunning imagery painted in just a handful of colors used strategically.
I loved the illustration style. Though simple, it was beautiful and powerful in carrying the story. The storyline is consisting of several disconnected bits and pieces, making this a read that you can return to for whole new and different experience multiple times. It's probably what would be called a story with little plot and a lot of vibes.
I think this is a story that will hit the right emotions for creatives with wild imaginations, the misunderstood, and the hopeless dreamers. It will be pleasing for those who like deep stories with visually stunning panels that are often minimalistic and monochrome.
I give this story a strong 4/5 stars. The only reason I didn't give it a 5/5 is that the storyline is a bit too dreamy and fuzzy for my usual reads, so I'm sure it didn't make full impact on the first read. But I might come back to it and reevaluate it.
