Owen was a WW1 soldier, and the faced horrors are vividly depicted in this book. The shell shock is to be experienced in these poems. I was especially intrigued by the references to other WW1 and romantic poets, and how he’s taken his own spin on it.

Who could speak better of the horrors of war than Wilfred Owen. His poem, The Disabled, is heart rendering.
