changelingreader_adrian's review
I'm not into this as a romantic thriller. I feel I already have whatever thematic messaging I could pull from this. Thus there's not really much to sustain my read of this beyond seeing Hope destroy herself and create scandal through her religious shame, inner turmoil, and so on. Also, to see Glory get her life in her own hands and somehow end up with Santos after his mother's murderer meets justice via his own influence. Which really isn't much to draw me, so I'm dropping it until further notice.
Graphic: Grief, Physical abuse, Emotional abuse, Child abuse, Religious bigotry, and Death of parent
Minor: Infidelity
There's religious shame and slutshaming/language (grossly used towards a child at a certain point)
