Not as suspenseful as the first two books. Still worth reading.

Would be 3 1/2 stars if permitted. The most emotionally involving & generally satisfying of the (admittedly limited number of) Stephen King books I've read.

The third in the trilogy and I'm frankly just sort of tired of these characters. This series has just lost its edge for me. Most of King's earlier stuff just seemed to grab me more. Not terrible but just not my favorite. Okay I'd say. Just looking forward to some of his new stuff within a new theme.

I did like this but I preferred the first two Hodges books.
