I really enjoyed this! I haven't read anything by this author before but as you can see I've added just about all her books to my TBR now.

I had no idea until the last chapter who had done it and why. The twists were all there, the WTF moments, all of it building up an awesome feeling of suspense.

Honestly my only complaint about this book was the epilogue and how flippin' cheesy and cliche it was. Saw that coming a mile away, literally almost word for word guessed the last sentence. Even so, I'm looking forward to all the authors' other work.

this was another good book by Erica Spindler. I didn't figure out who was the killer...but then I rarely do figure it out.

Definitely a good book to read, as are all of her books!

It was ok, I like the writing, but I knew who the killer was the whole time. I was never surprised

I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this book. The two main characters are artist Jane and her homicide detective sister, Stacy. When they were teens, Jane was horribly disfigured in a freak accident and years of plastic surgery have helped her heal (on the outside). The sisters have been estranged for awhile, but when Jane's husband is suddenly suspected and arrested of murder, the sisters reunite to find the real killer.

There were a lot of twists in this book, nothing super shocking, but I thought I had guessed who the real killer was and was surprised by the ending and the reveal. It was a pretty good mystery/thriller book and I read it in one day.

This was a very good book.
It just happened to be something that i've had on my bookshelf for a while, and decided to read on a whim.
It completely held my attention and had me guessing and second guessing till the very end. It gave you plenty of options for why it could be every person in the book, but also kept you hoping it was none of them.
The bad guy ended up surprising me, though I had thought about them a time or two through the book.
Definitely will keep you guessing, highly recommended!

I know it has 4+ stars, but I only made it to page 29 before giving it a pass. Chapter One tries to condense almost the entire adult history of the main character into 7 pages, and in the process loses any attempt at subtlety; personally, I prefer more of a show/don't tell approach. Then we move onto Chapter Two and the introduction of Detective Stacy Killian who checks off every box for female detective stereotypes in the genre. There is too much competition and too many excellent books out there to settle for something less. I am moving on.
