Another book that I would classify as fine. I liked the history bits of it, the stories of people finding meaning through swimming, and the culture of swimming in different parts of the world. Where it lost me was Tsui portrays swimming as an unequivocal cure for illness and "overcoming" disabilities. And even when there's a slight aside where a doctor points out swimming simply isn't the healthiest thing for everyone, Tsui quickly moves on and pushes him until he basically goes "well, who knows, swimming may be the cure all." I don't know, just not for me.
