I’m guessing this title wasn’t translated well. I don’t know the original language, but it bothered me that it was called “How Many Legs” when the book never asked that question. Otherwise, the pictures were awesome and I like that it combined teaching the numbers and asking the reader to count the numbers.

A small, hardback counting book perfect for any little ones. The first part of the book counts with you, stating the number in written form and symbol. There are wonderful, colorful and whimsical pictures that go along with each number. I loved the owl pictures and the robots (including a Dalek!), The seven turrets might be a little hard for some kids to understand.

The second part of the book asks kids to count how many in each picture encouraging them to interact and count the items on the page from one through ten. A fun, bright book for children starting to work on their counting skills.

This book was received for free in return for an honest review.

Spitzer has created a small colorful book perfect for little hands and curiosities. The bright yellow cover featuring a smiling caterpillar will capture the attention of young children and draw them into this counting book. Inside are pages full of unicorns, ice creams, cakes and other attractive items that make counting an adventure rather than a chore. After showing sets from 1 to 10, the presentation shifts to asking "How many?" and has children putting their numerical skills to work. This book is the perfect size for small hands to comfortably hold and the illustrations are brightly colored and fun to count over and over.

Recommended for parents and teachers of youngsters learning to read and work with numbers.

I received a copy of the book for review purposes.
