I still like the mysterious air in the book, but this was more creepy and dark than the previous books. Some parts were a little too much coincidence and the ending felt rushed. Still enjoyable though.

Memento Mori, remember to die.
Graveyard restoration has never been so dark and creepy. Bring your flashlight, security blanket and a big dog. Trust no one, believe nothing and expect the worst, you are entering the Amelia Grey Zone.
Secret societies, both evil and dangerous surround her. Scarifies, murders and so much more, slowly circle around Amelia. They could be anywhere, be anyone, and they are always watching for someone like her, powerful. She has little control, even of her own mind. Reality is questionable, her emotions may not her own. Her heart is broken and going to be crushed

Working in a new graveyard she takes a walk into the wood when called by something where she finds an moron caged grave. Mortsafes, cages out keep out or to keep in ? It’s a horrific though other way, but one that Amelia must ponder.
This fid starts her on a journey through the dark history of the area one that will change her life forever.
There are a few new players in the graveyard one is the handsome and mysterious
Detective Lucian Kendrick, the local law, he’s intense, handsome, and gives Amelia tingles of desire. He is more, than just a regular man, he can see and feel things. Amalia feels a connection, hopes for something she has never had, but is still in love with her past and fears everyone. I admit I was team Kendrick. Devlin ,well you know what he did if you’ve read the series.

The infamous Darius Goodwine, is back and he makes her an offer she can’t refuse. Yeh, I had to use that line. He seeps into her mind alters her reality, to the point she’s not sure what is really happening an what is his doing

I had one serious question, where did the kitten end up ? Oh I have a lot more questions then that but it was a kitten ! So is Devlin really a jerk ? Will the promise to help fid the keep be kept ? Will these societies be outed ? I hope Ms. Stevens is at home writing the next book right now. I am ready for it. The book ending was fantastic, ending with a right hook POW BAM POW. I loved it, loved the book. It was just right for this reader. Add this to your halloween reading list !

I just LOVE this saga.
The book arrived on the mail around 5pm on Thursday. At 7pm I had to stop reading because I had to attend a bday dinner. I came back home around 9pm and I finished reading the book around 2am this morning.

Amanda Stevens is the ONLY author who can keep me up at night every time she releases a new book. I don´t know how to explain it but once I start reading a new Graveyard Queen Book I just NEED to finish it. I don't even stop to get water or use the bathroom.

The Sinner was -by far- my least favorite book in the saga, even though it was amazing.
The beginning was a bit too similar to The Restorer and the "mystery" was too easy to solve.
I loved every page, but it didn't surprise me.

I can't wait to know how the saga ends next year.

This one sure did not disappoint! I did not realize until I started the book that this was #5 of the series. I will go back and catch up. Reading this out of order did not take anything away from the story.

Another haunting tale of Graveyard Queen Amelia Gray. This book introduced more turmoil into Amelia's life, though it seems she only seeks to find some form of hallowed ground in the murkiness that is her complicated existence. New characters bring about eerie new realizations and possibilities for Amelia and those close to her that help make the series feel new and exciting as it progresses!

Amanda Stevens is a master of suspense and keeping the reader engaged and riveted. This is one of my most favorite series because of the deep, intricate story line that just gets better and better with each installment!

I could not put it down. I love the feeling of these books, not omg spooky I am scared. Ha, no, not that. But this eerie feeling, which just makes you want to read more to find out what is happening.

In this one, Amelia is working in a graveyard as always and comes across buried secrets. There is something out there, and then there are those secret societies again. She is also missing Devlin (and so am I). And she never gives up, ghosts wont let her. There is a case to be solved and she does have her powers that helps.

There is suspense, secrets and the supernatural.

This was short, I should say more. But I just want to say that I enjoyed it. It's a great series that I recommend.

Perhaps the freakiest of the Graveyard Queen books, this one is full of red herrings and has a long list of potential evil-doers. When the main character doesn't know who to trust, the suspense and creep factor definitely goes through the roof.
While Amelia's constant lamenting over the break up of her relationship with John Devlin does get old, this installment of the series has a bit more action and felt like it was moving forward at a better pace than the previous novels. For this reason, I added a half star to the rating.

Another addictive addition to this fantastic series.

I devoured this book in mere hours and am already eagerly (and impatiently) awaiting the next one. This series just keeps getting better.

It will be springtime before I'll be able to read the next book since The Awakening won't be released until the end of March. That's a long time to wait for the next chapter in this fascinating story. I am sad that the person I thought might be a good support for Amelia was actually evil because I was ready to write off Devlin that we are once again pulled back by the tie that seems to bind them. Looks like book 6 will be very interesting.
