Okay, I almost gave up on this one because the main character starts out with such a chip on her shoulder... but it ended up being a fun little rom-com and holiday read. It brings all of the stereotypical rom-com tropes: quirky side characters, "unavailable" love interests, missed connections, but if you're looking for highly readable froth, this will do.
Note: little bit of language and mild sexual humor/ references lightly sprinkled here and there—but nothing open door.

Sweet little rom com with lovable but flawed characters. Set in London so a good pick if you need your Brit fix. Good narration on audio.

It was a good and easy read, but honestly a bit lackluster. It felt like it was building the reader up for quite a bit more of a climactic experience and then just dropped off rapidly.

I loved the alternating timelines and perspectives. Considering this was the authors debut novel I really enjoyed it! I think it took a little long for the romance/ development between the main characters but other than that it was a cute, quick and light read.
Plus it was New Years so of course it was perfect for reading first !
