Wow - a book with all my favorite things in it...music, London, and a dashing man hopelessly in love with a woman! I devoured this book in one sitting, as the plot moves quickly and logically from premise to promise. I loved the fact that the author obviously knew music - as a classical musician myself, there is nothing that irritates me quite as much as non-musicians trying to write about music, which brings me to the second thing I love - London. I wish there had been more context to the story. Why use such a fascinating locale if you don't explore your surroundings? That said, the third thing I love more than made up for the second. William is a wonderful hero - dashing and bumbling by turns. I will read more by this author!
