As a mystery buff, I found the quality of the stories themselves remarkably high in general, with several standouts. Included are old favorites (Dorothy L. Sayers, Ngaio Marsh) and new discoveries alike. An even greater attraction of this well-curated collection is seeing what social issues and pressures are brought to the fore by the authors.
