When I was laughing out loud at 3% of the way in, I thought I was onto a winner. Don’t get me wrong, it was an ok-ish book but I just didn’t love it. It all felt very same-y and repetitive the whole way through and I got bored. I’m glad it was a short book otherwise I would have DNF’d. I wasn’t overly keen on the FMC or the MMC. Hazel is annoying and the Hazel-y moments are too much. The humour in this book is the only reason is getting three stars.

Let’s just say even if I wanted to just let go and enjoy the humor I couldn’t because everything about it was extremely ridiculous and completely detached from reality that I could barely keep on reading.

Such a quick read. This may be one of my favorite Christina Lauren books.

Everything I heard about this book was spot on! I heard it was amazing and it was! I couldn’t put it down, I both started and finished it today.

forgot to write a review for this one! it was actually really fun to read and i loved hazel because she speaks anything on her mind and it's kind of refreshing to see. i loved josh & hazel's college history, it was really hilarious to read. the book starts hooking you in right at the start and it's rare to actually experience that. i thought it was really dragged on and i feel like it's definitely because of the best friends kind of thing so that's understandable. it was a really good vaca read!

i don’t usually dabble in a good friends to lovers romance bc they seem boring, but this was very cute. very romcom. not the best christina lauren i’ve read but it was a nice happy light read for sure. they did go a little overboard on stressing just how quickly the fmc was. we got the point
