Gewoon weer een heerlijk boek van Hurwitz en de orphan projects. Vol actie, technische snufjes en goede verhaallijnen. Verder niet heel bijzonder of spectaculair, maar als je van de serie houdt, absoluut het lezen waard.

3.5 stars. Not as good as the first one. I think the main problem was that there wasn't enough interaction between Evan and normal people. That dynamic of his life vs the normal world is what is really unique and compelling but this book is mostly psychopaths. Evan also seemed much more ruthless and unhinged. Like, he killed a lot of people. A lot. And the only solution was to kill. Of course the writing is excellent and compelling. I did get a little bored with the dream sequence and I didn't quite like how he described women. This was also more vulgar than I remember the first book being. Still, I did enjoy it but if I ever go to reread the series, I think I can skip this one. I will be reading the next one though.

Would have been 4 stars if Gregg Hurwitz could learn how to write women or value them for more than their sexuality.
