Awesome

I loved the humour mixed in with the mystery. It was a fun read even with the murders and attempted murders. There’s not a lot of on page sex but I know some people will appreciate it.

Quick wrap up of the mystery. A little bit of a let down but loved the book.

legitimately every fight this couple has is resolved by either 1. a bit of banter or 2. attempted murder. alt review: gonna be honest don’t remmeber a single thing about this one

Second reread... Was hard to finish. Tom pushover personality was seriously too much in this one.

Argh! I should have waited to read this one until closer to the release date of the 5th book. I'm not good at series, I'm always impatient to read the next one until it comes to the last one and then I don't want to read it because it's the end. So I hope this series never ends.

I love Tom and finally by the 4th book Phil is growing on me. I just didn't feel we got to know him enough in the first books; I felt I knew more of Arthur/Merlin's (the cats) personalities than Phil's. But in this book he seems more open (especially about the "Mysterious Mark") and we learn about his past (beyond the Chelsea Tractor+Tom's Hip incident) and his desires for the future.

I want to like this book but it never grabbed my interest and by about 50% through the book I was too bored to keep going :( Lots of banter, not a lot of substance or meaningful plot. Not much romance, and not much mystery either. It felt like it was just spinning its wheels the whole time.
