As a Colorado Avalanche fan I felt a bit dirty and traitor like reading this. That said this story was amazing and I loved to hear the background of the dreaded Russian five, reads like a spy novel but with the nostalgia of a rivalry for the ages.

settling on three stars. i wanted to enjoy this more than i did because the topic is something im genuinely interested in, but the author makes it difficult to follow what is happening timeline-wise and i found myself just turning to something like wikipedia instead.
