A truly remarkable play. Reading the interplay between the characters made me feel like I was at a tennis match. There are cruel, vicious moments and tender, fragile ones that strike home equally.

“There is no sound in the house until, a few minutes after Martha’s exit, a shot is heard. The sound of the shot should not be too loud or too strong; the act has not been sensational.”

had to keep putting this down to deep breathe ❤️
